Assocoral and the Coral and Cameo Consortium of Torre del Greco Present Their Project

Assocoral has always been proactive in supporting local initiatives that promote and enhance the city of Torre del Greco.

Today, this commitment is even stronger thanks to the collaboration with the Coral and Cameo Consortium of Torre del Greco.

As in the past — when we conceived and promoted the Virtual Museum project, now nearing inauguration thanks to PICS funds — we have presented a new proposal under the PRIUS funding program.

This time, however, the goal is even more ambitious: to create a physical Museum of Coral and Cameo on the upper floors of the Santissima Trinità building, transforming the site into a true cultural and museum hub for the city.

While the Virtual Museum represents an important step toward innovation, it is not enough on its own.
The coral and cameo craftsmanship of Torre del Greco is alive, productive, and dynamic, and deserves to be told and experienced through a physical space — complete with professional display cases, lighting, security systems, and curated exhibition routes.

The vision is for a Museum that not only preserves our tradition, but also becomes a driver of local development through tourism fairs, marketing initiatives, and digital promotion.
